♔We finished the dress roughly a year after we started it. It's gotten some wear at a few parties. Here are some progress pictures and one of the finished dress, as well as a low quality selfie I just took of myself in the dress as it appears today. It needs some repair work, admittedly - it's been through a good bit.
♔The hoopskirt has been through a lot and had some serious wear and tear. I took out the hoops and put it in the washing machine. I hope that doesn't injure it too much.
♔I am in the planning stages for the next project right now. This dress will be a bustle dress ca. 1886 in dark blue & black. The pattern for the corset, which I consider the first step, is on its way. I will update as soon as I have the pattern in my hands.
